These services are tailored to meet
the personal needs of you and your pet. There are times when your work
commitments, holiday, day out or illness can interfere with your animals'
needs,
but they still require regular exercise and care. We are fully insured.
Dogs require physical and mental
stimulation throughout the day or they can become bored and destructive.
The number of days, visits and duration will be different for each dog,
but I care for your animals as if they were my own. Feeding, walking,
grooming and cuddles are all provided.
I have many years' experience of animals, hold certificates in animal
care and canine first aid
and I am presently studying canine psychology and nutrition. Cats, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs
can also be taken care of in your absence;
I will visit your home once or twice a day to feed, change water, clean
litter trays,
check on welfare and offer affection.
Your dog can spend its day here
and experience extra special home comforts in their personal 'lounge'.
No crates or kennels in sight - it's home from home...
We are situated well away from any road, at the end of a mile long lane
and surrounded by countryside.
On your way to work or out for the day you deliver your dog or dogs to
us. We then look after them until you return to pick them up. We can also
collect and return them to you in our dog 'limo'
which is fitted with safety compartments for each animal. If you are off
to France for the day through Eurotunnel, why not leave him here and pick
him up on your return?
Their usual routine of feeding, medication and care continues while they
are with us. Owners are asked to provide a supply of their dogs’
regular food to avoid tummy upsets, but we do provide treats, should your
dog be keen, and an abundance of cuddles. It is also a good way to socialise
your dog or puppy, particularly if you do not have the time to spend walking
every day with them.
They have lots of personal attention,
countryside walks from the doorstep and avoid the stress which some dogs
suffer when going into boarding kennels. There is a sofa for them to curl
up on, dog beds, lots of toys and space to relax or play. Twice a day
they will be taken on a walk, either one of the local woodland walks or
to the beach. They can have access from their 'lounge' to a large, fenced
area which the more energetic can use whenever they like. Or, if elderly
dogs are happy simply to curl up and relax, they can put their paws up,
take it easy and be encouraged outside whenever they feel like it. No
pressure here then!
There is a growing appreciation
for the uniquely spiritual healing relationship that is achieved
with PetMassage™. It does not take the place of proper veterinary
care and is not to be
confused with animal physical therapy which involves different skills
and goals.
It is also not medical or sports massage. PetMassage™ is 'complementary'
animal healthcare.
It is a gentle and non-invasive therapy, and an important part of their
regular health care.
Massage is a time honoured method of reducung stress and tension.Humans
are not
the only ones that deserve to be pampered. Your dog equally deserves
a massage
once in a while, preferably on a regular basis. Massage can be carried
out in
your own home or here in our fully equipped centre.
Your dog will appreciate a relaxing massage to the sound of gentle music
in a calm atmosphere,
and if he is in day care with us the 'spa-package' will round off the
day nicely.
Imagine him coming back to you, safe, happy and totally relaxed.
If the weather is good what could be better than sampling a relaxing
massage
outside in the garden, fresh air, the sound of birds? Bliss......
